Hi
I am about to buy a 1992 Rinker 235. Anyone got any feedback on this model please? It has been converted to diesel and will be used mainly on inland waterways.
Thanks

I had a 235 Fiesta Vee 1992 model and owned it for 22 years! Never had any fiberglass issues or quality problems. The mid-cabin was a bit tight for adults, and I was not crazy about the seating arrangement in the cockpit. Mine had the 230HP gas 5.7 Merc and was quite economical to operate, and the Alpha One drive.
Used it extensively on Lake Erie with only minimal normal maintenance. Hopefully they did a good job changing it to a Diesel. Was it a new engine? What outdrive?
Welcome aboard if you buy it!
If we go ahead and buy it, we will be using it on the Norfolk Broads (UK).
Will report back.

85hp recon Ford Transit engine.
Diesel is ideal for what we need in this area.
Very little petrol available and a max allowed speed of 6mph on The Broads.
