Are you providing a matchbook to wedge in there so the 8 track will track?

Back when I actually had an 8 track in my car, it was mostly Rolling Stones, Moody Blues, James Gang, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, etc. Not a fan of ABBA, LoL!

Oh man, I actually have seen both in concert! :) & it would end with "Good night Sweetheart, well it's time to go..da da da do dum (Bowser flexing his muscles)...sometimes we still end our great boating nights with that song!

I had Benatar, Journey, and Loverboy on 8-tracks! LOL!

I believe that is the same unit I have in my 2002 212. Works fine. That retangular hole is for a cassette shaped adaptor that you plug your iPhone or Bluetooth receiver into.......  ;)

Hi Trip... I absolutely love the fusion radio. I keep an old 64gig iPhone inside the radio dock and a separate 16gig usb flash drive loaded with music. I also have SiriusXM connected. The Fusion is connected to my NMEA2000 network and is seamlessly controlled through my Garmin 742xs Chartplotter.... oh yeah, I can also control the radio with my iphone via Bluetooth while sitting on the dock. My radio is the MS-UD750(the UD stands for Universal Dock)... the MS-AV750 is the radio that is more suited for connection to a TV and/or DVD player(pretty sure there is HDMI connections on the radio.

Yes, the MS-AV750 is an awesome radio as well... I just wanted the iPhone dock. I do not have any need for a Fusion remote... my radio is in the cabin, chartplotter is on deck and my iPhone is always in my pocket(Fusion Link app is awesome!).

Did you keep the Kenwood amp then?

Yes, I kept the Kenwood amp... amp powers the (4) JL Audio cockpit speakers and the radio powers the (2) cabin speakers.

Oooooooo  Interesting.  Been on my list to upgrade for sometime now, just low priority.  I'll look at that, solves the replacing remotes issue and could run DVD's for the TV.

Get it from Crutchfield?  Have to change the opening in the cabinet?

Opening in cabinet is standard DIN size and doesn't need to be altered. I bought my radio through West Marine(burned a bunch of gift cards). Those JL Audio speakers sound great as well...
