The fringe channels are certainly not as good, but they were spotty even with the saucer.
I'll be honest, I was more concerned with just getting rid of the saucer rather than performance.
However, I am pleasantly surprised with its performance.

I purchased one from them also but got the dish style,...that is a lot cleaner looking, not sure why I did not see that one!
