260 fold down seat.

I have a new 2013 fold down seat in the stern. The back when it is in the verticle position is loose. When I lift it a bit there is a long screw that fits in a hole. I cant figure out how to access the screw so I can either put a new one on or retourque the one that is there. When the seat is in the down in the horizontal position I am afraid when someone sits on it, it will come completely off.
This appears to be a different seat than most becasue it doesn't have a back. The one on Capt Steve's video has a back on it
This on doesn't or at least I do not know how to make it with a back rest.

You need to fold the seat back down, then lift the seat bottom up. From there you can access inside the fiberglass back the seat mounts to for access to the nuts to tighten them up. I am sure the dealer Happy days is working on this boat or has been asked the same question as they have contacted me about this also.

If it is new, isn't covered by warranty? It looks like it needs to be pushed down....how the heck you would tighten it beats me.
Captain Steve Happy Days did contact me today and told me the same thing. Although I did understand your explanation better
