Really enjoyed the read and the pics. Glad you guys made it home safe and it sounded like a great trip. 

Would love to ha e the guts to do something like this with my family in the future.

Takes more gas money than guts.  

We'll go back up to Tobermory and over to Gerogian Bay some day.  Have to make up for the stops we missed.

Very cool! what was your longest run? Hours/miles?

Home to Port Austin, Day 1, was around 135 miles.  And took 5+ hours total but we stopped in Port Huron for gas and lunch so it broke it up.  We had a couple 100+ mile/4-5 hour days including the ride home in bumpy water.  When I was doing the planning I tried to stay to no more than 4 hours when possible.

That is a hella cruise!  Was the turtle as mean as he looks?

The turtle was walking across the parking lot at the marine store in Gore Bay.  My wife saw him (her?) and said it looked lost.  So I don't think I'd say he/she was mean.

Someone pointed out that the tensioner pulley is the same design as the idler (that we had fail on our trip), just with groves.  So they will be on the winter replacement list.  Looks like they run about $35 each.  Cheap insurance in my book.
