Stainless Steel Rail

One of the section of the stainless steel rail came apart at the weld joint area.  Can it be rewelded or is their a resin I could you to hold it in place.

    @Bayrunner, yes SS can be welded but it should be done by someone who knows SS and how to do it. Two very common types are 304L (best t use a 308L filler) and 316L (best to use a 316L filler) although 308L filler can be used on both. The trick is to have a welder experienced with this as he(she) has to move the weld faster than "regular" steels. There are also very recent SS formulations that require different treatment.

    Bottom line I would have an experienced welder fill and polish your rail. I do not think any epoxy or resin would be long lasting.
