Steering is making noise at the wheel

Every time I turn the wheel it makes a noise. Is there a proper way to lubricant  the steering wheel or is my noise something more complicated

You may be low on power steering fluid.  That is where I'd start.

The noise is not at the pump its at the steering wheel

A clicking sound ? Mine just started that tihis weekend. Almost sounds like a plastic on plastic sound. Did not have time to investigate.
