Steering vibration

i get a vibration in the steering wheel when turning hard right or left on my 342. Any ideas?

Check your power steering fluid level. Are there any noises with the vibration? If yes it could be a gimbal bearing starting to go.

Check for noise with hatch open, usually hard left hard right is the beginning sign for gimbal bearing.

Have the same issue. Having the marina tech change the gimbal bearing when we pull the boat In a few weeks.
Woke up to 32F and frost here this morning but plan on going out this afternoon for a cruise.

Gimbal bearing is no big deal. I have one making noise so we will do both this winter. $70 per bearing and 2 hours Labor. It's the gimbal housing that you don't want to have to deal with. Make sure they check u joints too.
