Rinkers near Port Clinton, OH?

Still in the early stages but was planning to head to the Port Clinton/Sandusky Ohio are Saturday to look at boats. There was a 2000 310 for sale but after emailing them found it was under contract pending survey/sea trial. Haven't seen anything else listed for sale in that area that looks interesting so don't want to waste a 2.5 hour drive (Pittsburgh area) and not see anything that interests me. Currently the top of my list is the Four Winns Vista 298 or one of the similar sized Rinkers. Probably 290, 300 or 310. Trying to stay under 11' beam as I will trailer it occasionally at least to and from storage but this isn't a big concern. 12' is absolute widest I can go for trailering restrictions (pilot car, etc). I am looking at boats around the early 2000s due to budget (under $40k). I like the size of the 290 but like the 'queen seat' on the 310. Haven't been on any of the Rinkers yet so not sure how we will like the layout yet. Me and the wife both really like the FW 298 layout.

That's interesting that Happy Days dropped Rinker. They were a dealer for years! A lot of Pittsburgh Rinker owners went there when the local dealer went out of business.

I have seen that FW listed and looks good. Right up my alley but I have been on a few of those and would like to see a Rinker before making a decision. That 300 you posted looks good but a little over my budget. I'm thinking if I am going to go to the top of my budget at $40k then I might wait until next year. If I find a good deal on a nice one for around $30k then I might jump on it now. But still want to see whats out there. I might kick myself if I pass up that FW
