OIL DRAIN HOSE

The oil drain hose that slides through the bildge plug hole had a small thin clamp on it that come off. It looks like it was crimped on. Any idea how to replace this?

Like a pex clamp?

Replace entire hose
it might be getting old and saturated with oil.
you don’t want to dump oil into your bulge while running

I used a large fishing swivel, to repair from the plug to the hose. It has to be able to turn when taking plug in and out.

I like the idea of replacing it but cannot see how it attaches to the oil pan.

Screws into where your oem drain plug was
so if you want to change you will have to do it while changing oil

I have the hose but I don't run it through the drain hole- I have a pump I attached to my drill and put the hose with the pump down into the hose that goes to the pan so I get all the oil out- easier than jamming the hose down through the fill...my other boat had the swivel like mentioned above and pulled out with the drain plug- since I store without the plug in the boat, this works best for me.
