how do you find the water and holding tank levels in 2003 342?

I just got a 2003 342.  Nice boat.  Wondering how to tell how much is in the water and holding tanks?

Open aft storage door and you will see access panels you can remove and see the tanks

Yep, handy is referring to the storage door in the rear of the aft cabin. I put access panels in the walls of my aft storage compartment so that it's easy to check the levels every weekend.

Or, with your DC power on. There is a waste/water gauge on the bottom right side of your breaker panel.

I need to add access hatches back there some day.

Thanks for all the responses.   It was good to see the pictures - so I know I won't be cutting into something other then the cabinet wall.

I removed the wall screws all along side top and bottom brought it home than cut it

Yea agree with Bella, don't cut in boat, it's 8 screws to remove the panels and take home. Do that.

Hmmmm, I'll have to get off my back side and get that done.  Course I'll need to find someone who can do wood work.

@zaverin1 I'd have to pull the mid-berth out to access the tanks.  There are monitors on the now but they are far from accurate.  The peep holes are a good solution.
