Chapman Piloting -- the book every boater should own

A little public service announcement that we haven't mentioned in a while. Every boater should own this book:
Chapman Piloting & Seamanship, 68th Edition
$35 from Amazon or Walmart
It's the ultimate boating FAQ list. It's a thick book that might seem intimidating, and there's no online version. But the writing is easy to understand, and it covers pretty much every topic related to recreational boating. After 20 years, I'm still learning from my copy.
If you buy it, get the 68th edition. Anything selling for less than $35 is probably an old edition.

Looks like another thing I need to buy during my visit to Florida in a couple of weeks. Gonna need a BIG suitcase.

*Pop-up southern thunderstorm while we were navigating an inlet. Water spouts, strong winds, three lightning strikes close enough to shock the captain and disable our engine and electronics, and white-squall conditions that we couldn't see more than 15' in. AND we got most of it on video (posted to YouTube).
