Does anyone know if the nuts on the bolts attaching the swim ladder to the swim platform are captive? Or, am I going to have to squeeze into the void of the platform -- and I'm not built for squeezing into anywhere!!!

They go thru to the inside of the swim platform. Time to get really skinny. It might be easier to get in there if you disconnect the batteries so you have more room on that side of the engine.

Tape the wrench on a handle
Or find a small monkey.
