Lithium battery

Just curious if anyone has considered or bought a lithium battery for their boat.  I'm not looking for a new one or anything (some of you probably know, I bought the TPPL batteries last year and really happy with them).  I'm just curious about them.

Ah ya,  they may be great, but how many battrie's can you buy for $850

The last thing I’d want is one of these in my engine bay without proper hardened protection from a thermal runaway condition. The redesign of the housings and containment of lithium ion batteries on aircraft (used for onboard power needs) came from thermal runaway conditions in the Boeing 787 where a fault condition resulted in fires on board aircraft on the ground. That’s also why they don’t want these in luggage. There’s enough in the engine bay that poses fire risk. Don’t need another that is more deadly and harder to control when it happens.
