My lower unit is cracked! Darn Minnesota anyway. So I need to replace it, but they're telling me to make sure I get the right gear ratio. I have no idea what my gear ratio is! Is there a way to get that from the SN of the boat or of the drive? They also talk about different generations of the AlphaOne outdrive. Should I just assume I'm first generation if it's manufactured in April, 1990?
