LED head night light

Has anyone added a dim LED light in your head for when you are going to the bathroom in the middle of the night? I am considering adding a red LED light that I can leave on at night. That way when the admiral or myself has to use the head we aren't blasted with white light. My thoughts were to mount it facing down in the flat area right above the sink. I was going to use the vaccu-flush switch since I don't have that option on my boat.

I have added these, one in the head lower down so it doesn't hit the eyes and one as you come into the cabin down the stairs. Battery and motion operated, so no switch needed.

I put a nite lite in the receptacle in the head and left it on all nite. Just an idea.

I found a single LED light made by Innovative Lighting. I don't want anything too bright. Just enough to see where I am aiming at. It's only $8, so I might get it to try out. They make a 4 LED version that used the same mount. I could get that if the single LED isn't bright enough.

I bought a motion sensor for the light in the head.  We're on the hook more than at a marina so plug-in night lights don't do much for me.

I bought a 6 pack of battery powered puck lights from costco with a controller and strategically placed them around the cabin, aft cabin and bathroom so when our kids are sleeping on the boat they can see at night. They are just push button. Easy to use, bright, last long time and affordable. Works great.

I have an LED fixture in the head that is push on/off but it's not easy to find in the dark when it's late.  My first option was a switch near the door but I couldn't find a good solution for that.

Got my single red LED light installed on my boat today. It should be just enough light to leave on at night and not kill your night vision. It might be 34* outside, but nice and toasty under my Fisher cover.
