Trent for my Ontario friends

To all my Ontario friends around the Trent system.  We are planning a trip to do 6-7 days on the Trent.  We have the luxury that a friend is going to take our trailers to our end location. So my question for those that have done it.  What is a realistic distance to go in 6-7 days.  Also any recommendations on a starting spot with a good marina for launching a 280.  We will be coming from the London area. We are open to ideas. Thank you in advance.

    Also any good Marinas to stay at while on the way.  We are going August 11-18

    Howdy neighbour, we have done the Trent system many times, if you are travelling one way only you can cover a lot of the system in 6-7 days depending on how many stops you make along the way. Our favourite area is Youngs point to Kirkfield with extended stops at Bobcaygeon and Fenelon falls. Couchiching to Port Severn is very nice as well. 
    There are lots of Marinas where you can launch and get gas etc. Gordon Yacht Harbour in Bobcaygeon is one of our favourites.
