2000 Fiesta Vee 340 dash dimmer switch

Well, I changed out all of my electronics on the boat and now I have run in to an issue. My 2000 has a switch at the bottom right of the panel that is the dimmer for the dash gauges. Unfortunately in my wiring of the new electronics the wires pulled off of the back of this switch. I have 3 poles on the switch but I only have a set of purple wires and a set of black wires. I checked the switch and there is not markings on it for hot, ground or anything.

 

If anyone can help tell me what the 3 poles are for or how the wires should go back on that would be great. I have searched and don't see a 3rd wire laying anywhere.
