Port window vinyl damage

Last season I removed a port window to reseal it.  In doing so while removing the window some of the cabin wall vinyl cracked and it looks terrible, luckily it's the one under the kitchen cabinets so not very noticeable.  I'm trying to gather some ideas to try and make it look better.

This isn't the damaged one...but imagine around the white frame the "cream / tan" vinyl cracking ect...

I tried getting a vinyl / leather repair kit, but that didn't seem to work to well.

Run it by Diggin and see if he can come up with something. Maybe he can make a "plate" for you.

@raybo3 - That's a great idea.  I'll take some better pictures this coming weekend so I can show him exactly what's going on.
