On the advice of the manufacturer I got the West Marine brand 1/4 chain+1/2 triple stranded line anchor rode https://www.westmarine.com/buy/west-marine--rope-chain-anchor-rode-packages-for-windlasses--P005_150_001_004?pCode=151905

I had a chain/line combo with the smooth line and my Horizion 600 windlass couldn't grab it.
