Transponder installation

I’m installing a new GPS/ fishfinder on my 270FV.  What’s the best sealant to use when installing?  Can I install next to the existing ducer or better on opposite side of the motor?

Opposite side is best.  Maybe side-by-side if you're positive they use different frequencies.

You can still get interference even if different so best to get them as far apart as possible.
