Jabsco Searchlight Rebuild?

just curious if anyone has had any luck on rebuilding the internals of the Jabsco searchlight? My vertical gears (plastic) the teeth are stripped out and it won’t go up and down. Just curious if anyone has had success without buying a whole new spotlight. Thy want $900 for a new light lol

That looks like a piece you could have 3D printed.

Did you try calling Jabsco for the part? Or maybe you can send it to them to rebuild?

Plan on calling them tomorrow but I’ve read online how they’re useless when it comes to help

Find a scrapper on fleabay.  Is this the same as what you have?

I believe there is a company in Florida that repairs these, sorry can't remember their name. Jabsco may have their info.

Just look for a used one on eBay or convert to a plastic
version cheaper
got mine used

I had the same problem on mine on my 08
280. Of course they don’t make that model any longer or the parts for it.  I replaced mine with a marinco.  It was the same wiring and runs off the Jabsco controller.  Was 650$ Canadian they wanted 1300$ for the Jabsco.
