New custom swim platform being installed, new anodes, drives painted, and hull paint touched up. Should be ready to go soon

    :) it also saves me 200k getting one on a new boat :) all the interior is ripped out as well and being reuppolstered. So it should be pretty much updated after this season.

    Nice! @F1100 is that the folks from Custom Swim Platforms? Been a good experience? I spoke with them at the T.O. Boat show and was liking what I heard. Actually had the paperwork in my hands to sign over a deposit (there may have been beer involved) but then a moment of sanity reminded me I was looking at a possible drive re-build this spring (which happened) so I've got it on the radar for over the winter.

    Willhound,  yes http://www.yourswimplatforms.com/ , So far its been good.. gave them a deposit, and they made what I wanted with the options I wanted. They came out and measured the boat and matched the color as best they could. Its not fully installed yet so will see once its on the water.

    it should be nice to have some chairs on the back now.

    Swimplatforms.com is great, but only if you're in the U.S. Between exchange and shipping they get way expensive up here. The outfit that F1100 used and that I will likely use is only about an hour's drive from where our boats are located and they'll come and do the templating as part of the overall price. I was quoted a boat show special of $2500 CDN, installed for my 270.

    yeah , buying local is better, thats why I did it. Plus my marina has installed lots of their platforms, and took delivery of it. So was a no brainer
