While visiting two replica boats from the Columbus journey ( must have been a lot or rum involved to make that journey!) we cam across this savage- perhaps drug in from the deep ocean from one of the crossings....

It was pretty funny...the docks had hoses that have a fast drip and they congregate to get it...

A manatee! They love fresh water...it is against the law to do this...not sure how the dock does not get in trouble...nut funny to watch.

We had them come by the docks on the intercoastal at our condo complex now and then when I was a kid.  I swear they waited until I was fishing to come up for air with a big snort.
