Stereo Power for 2003 312 FV

What is the normal (stock) power source for the stereo on a 2003 312 FV?  The stereo has been upgraded several years ago by previous owner. (Kenwood).  New speakers, etc.
It seems to only power up when I turn on both engine batteries.   I thought it might be better on house.. or that it would at least be on 1 battery.

Also, if anyone has the schematic for a 2003 312 that would help me greatly for this and a few other things I am trying to understand.

    I want to see where the amp fuse gets its power from.  I assume the best place is behind this panel.   Does anyone know the best way to get at this.. is it the larger rounded head screws around the outside or should I begin somewhere else?

    From what I remember when I pulled mine out I removed the smaller countersunk screws on the inner frame of the door. Then the screws on the black panel. The larger screws stayed in place.
