We recently purchased a 2001 Rinker 272 and noticed the fuel gauge is not working. I don't remember seeing anything that looked like a 5 screw mount sending unit when I was cleaning the boat. Does anybody know where the fuel sending unit is located, and how big of job it is to replace the sending unit on the 272? Thanks for your help.

If the center of the floor is removable, that might have to come up. If you could provide some pictures of the engine room, and the interior of your boat without the carpet, we will be able to give you some better direction. @Alswagg might also be able to give you some direction as to where it is located.

My fuel gauge is showing FULL all the time, so I am assuming it is faulty sending unit. Any idea on what type of sending unit rinker uses on the 272?
