The trick, at least on mine, was finding ones that covered the large hole thru the deck and still cleared the radius where the deck steps up. I replaced mine several years ago with LED fixtures and had to make a SS adapter plate to mount them. The Hella LED’s I used are no longer available unfortunately.
They are very close. On my boat, I was able to cover up all existing holes with the new light. I filled the holes with 3M4000 UV caulk before placing the new ones on. One would think that these companies that sold thousands of nav lights would make the LED version utilizing the same footprint. I guess that makes too much sense.
