342 bow lights

what are you 342 owners replacing your crappy plastic OEM bow lights with. I want something that fits well is high quality I'm thinking stainless

The trick, at least on mine, was finding ones that covered the large hole thru the deck and still cleared the radius where the deck steps up. I replaced mine several years ago with LED fixtures and had to make a SS adapter plate to mount them. The Hella LED’s I used are no longer available unfortunately.

They are very close. On my boat, I was able to cover up all existing holes with the new light. I filled the holes with 3M4000 UV caulk before placing the new ones on. One would think that these companies that sold thousands of nav lights would make the LED version utilizing the same footprint. I guess that makes too much sense.

Good luck......some of them are a biatch to remove due to all the silicone potted around the wire holes. I had to take my v-berth apart to get to them.....here is a video of how to do that.
