Engine hatch switch wiring, 2000, 270

Does any one know or can anyone tell me how the switch on the rocker panel is wired to move the engine hatch up and down. I'm replacing the entire rocker panel switches and plate with custom made. I'm being asked if I know if the switch is wired for reverse polarity. I have no clue? Thanks in advance for any help I can get!

Here is how the hatch is wired on my 280EC. Yours should be close to the same.

Where are you having the new plate made?  I was thinking about that myself but it seems prohibitively expensive.  I have a 2000 270FV also and the wiring is pretty shot behind the helm switches and some of the switches themselves are pretty dirty inside.  I've taken apart some of them and cleaned them up, but it's only a short term solution.  Cheers.

Excellent! If you call them you can feel free to mention me for the template. Although I changed the layout slightly, I had them remove the dimmer, a waste! I measured my 2002 switch panel and it appears to be the same size as a Rinker 250.  Found it on gls
