For those of you interested in high performance boating - I was just told this tonight although it happened April 30. The DCB (Dave's Custom Boats) 35 foot wide-hulled catamaran "Lickity Split" ( quite famous in racing circles) crashed after a timed run in Lake Havasu. After completing a 158 MPH pass in the "Desert Storm Poker Run" three people were out in it for a "pleasure ride"  when it crashed. Two were killed and the wife of one of the men was in extremely critical condition. In have seen this boat. It was scheduled to participate in several Canadian poker runs this summer. Very sad. Boating Magazine has the story.

That was an awesome boat.....one of my favorites. So very sad that this happened. The wife died a few days later.
    No longer a boat owner.....previous boat - 2005 Rinker Fiesta Vee 342

A lifelong friend of mine, was very close with all that were aboard the Lickity Split. He also owns a DCB,  and participates in poker runs all over the country.
The crash affected the entire community,  and they won't be forgotten...
