Refrigerator not working on battery power

2009 rinker 260ec- shore power and Generator frig works great. Batteries are new this year. This morning the frig freezer was thawed. Red light blinking on and off. Had the same problem last year. So I thought 4 year old Batts were the problem. I thought wrong. Any ideas?

You need to measure the voltage on the controller after you unplug shore power.

Also the 12 volt wire could fall off or a fuse.

Make sure 12v wires are tight.  My connections behind the electrical panel were loose.  Good luck.

If it’s the same as mine there are 2 fuses in the control box

Checked out all the wiring 2day. Everything is tight. Batts @12.99. As soon as I unplug shore power & turn on the fridge inside I get 2 red blinks pause & 2 blinks again. We will be taking it apart this weekend to check the controller and to see the voltage at the box etc. And I'll be hooking it up straight to the Batts w/ 10wire to check if I missed anything in between.Thanks for everyone's comments. Your all very helpful.

There is an explanation for the blinking red lights. Its an error code .

On my WAECO, it states each flash lasts 1/4 of a second.  After the series of flashes a pause follows.  The sequence is repeated every 4 seconds.  2 flashes indicates and error of "Excessive fan current".  Possible cause is "the fan loads the electronics unit with more than 1 A.

So maybe motor going bad or dirty coil

Clean the fan too - if it's dusty or cobwebbed it could draw additional amps.

Pulled Frig out.. cleaned fan coil etc.Wow! Frig works now. Thanks to all for the help.
