Ac and heat

Happened the last 2 trips to the boat.  Thermostat is set to 73 degrees, but cabin is 61 degrees and heat indicator light is on the thermostat...but compressor not running or blower.

Reset it and then it ran flawlessly Friday night and all day Saturday so far.

Thoughts?

I put a security camera pointing at the thermostat while I'm away from the boat.  I want to see if I catch anything that might have caused it.  Error codes on the readout maybe.

Having put a security camera on the thermostat all week.  It said 74 degrees the entire week and I was pleased.

However came to boat to only realize the thermostat was stuck on 74 degrees anf temp was really 80+ degrees in the cabin...and would not respond to any button presses including on / off.  I had to switch shore power on / off to get the thermostat working again.

    Time for a new thermostat???

Sounds more like the board froze up
