The corrosion was pretty bad but look close at the screw hole. Broken on both distributors. You can tell the previous owner or previous owners mechanic tried to fix it with some type of prematex. Is this a part that can be replaced or does the whole distributor have to be purchase.

I'm not 100% sure but if you want it fixed correctly I think the whole distributor needs to be replaced.

@skennelly Holy Mackeral! Thats exactly what I need. I was going to try JB waterweld. I think you're right about having to buy the hole distributor $$$$.

I guess the distributor has to be removed to put this repair kit in?

Been there. $900 for that distributor. It is exceedingly easy to break those tabs even lightly hand tightening.

@onislandtime what year/make/model did you tell the web site?  It seems to be aimed at automotive parts.

On the "housing" image, is something suppose to be plugged into that? On both engines nothing was connected.

That part is the ‘fix’ for those distributors. Same problem in cars/trucks.

so here is an advanced one.. some previous maintainer stripped out the holes on the ROTOR mounting screw holes, no repair kit for that, I am however taking suggestions...
