engine rebuilt (new engine has about 2 hours on it). The reason for the rebuild was due to engine overheating which led to discovery of a cracked piston. My question is should I feel comfortable purchasing this boat.....I'm just a little concerned buying a 'rebuilt' engine. Asking price is $8250.

Paying a mechanic a couple of hundred bucks to check out the engine might save you the heartache of an engine replacement later.
