Clarion M455A anyone?

ManneKManneK Member Posts: 3
Anyone that has a Clarion M455A for sale? I dropped my detachable front in the water and look for a new front or the entire stereo. Since my wired remote controls work with this model I assume I have to look for the same model .. ....unless I want to replace it all which I prefer not to. Or anyone with a similar experience with a better idea?

No, but I can tell you I recently sold mine on eBay for $55, so it won't cost much if you can find one.  BTW I have two remotes that I didn't get around to selling yet.

I may know someone that may need them. We are still troubleshooting Glenn's radio. It just turns off by itself, may be due to remote.

I had a problem like that with the stereo on my center console.  But it was when I transmitted on the VHF.  The coax was routed close to the stereo as it went to the antenna.  I re-routed the coax and now the VHF does not affect the stereo.  Might look for similar interference.

Thanks F1100 , no it's not that one. It looks like this.

LaRea, ok good that it's not too expensive, but too bad I was late for it..

Hey  ManneK mind if I ask what type of remote you used with that radio ?   Just bought a boat with that stereo and the radio is in the bathroom but no controls other then on the back of the boat on the swim platform which is useless.  Rather just add a remote by the steering wheel.

I have 2 remotes that I would be willing to part with. One is in good shape and the other is in fair shape. (The chrome beauty ring needs reattached) I do not have the cables because they are in the wiring harness.
