Grill on a 342

Anyone have a grill they use on a 342 that isn't on a pedestal mount on the swim platform?  I'd like to add a grill, but don't want a permanent mount.  I'd like to take it out, connect it somewhere, and put it up when done.  Where do you mount yours?  Pros/cons?

We use a big foreman on the cockpit counter next to the sink. Works great even on the hook!

The pedestal mount is not permanent, you can't drive will the grill up.

If you have flush mount rod holders you can buy a mount that goes in them. Very easy to put in and remove for storage.

Do these grills drip grease when you're cooking?

Mine has a drip tray also but there usually ends being a drip or two that gets on the outside of the boat - maybe when the lid is opened.  I put a towel on the carpet in front of the grill just in case.

I mounted a rod holder to the bar that keeps the fenders in place on my 342 and the added a rod holder mount to my grill.  Works great as long as you get a strong rod holder that you can clamp down real tight.
