Adjusting compensation on compass

This compass is on my 2008 330.  How do you adjust compensation?  The direction pamphlet talks about the adjusting screws directly below luber line and just to the right of line.  I don't see anything there or anywhere's else.  The Phillips screws showing are the mounting screws.

You have to remove the compass. The adj screws are below the mounting flange.

Note the wiring behind the dash can throw it way off. Did on my 342. Do NOT use your cell phone compass to true it.  They can be way off.

So you would remove it, make adjustment, reinstall, check, possibly remove it again, make adjustment, reinstall, check, ...?

Ideally, yes. If no metal or electronics on your boat are the cause for deviation, then you could do it without the in/out.

Using your cell phone compass typically uses the cell towers for north and can be way off. You can turn that setting off to use GPS instead.

I used my handheld compass to verify my new one.  It was spot on out of the box.
