342 tv connection

05 342 has a “tv” connection next to the shore power outlet. One is coaxial and the other I’ve never seen before. Two prong in a round configuration. 
Anyone know why this connection is?
what all is connected to either of these?

Some marinas provide cable tv. Depending on type of connection you can connect for service.

That round thing next to the TV coax is a phone connection.  Once upon a time some marinas had matching sockets on their power poles.

Does anyone know where the other end is inside the boat????

I thought the same thing right after I typed that.  Never thought to look.

Almost certain there is nothing connected inside the boat. Those outlets come with the TV and phone connections, phone side is unused from the factory.

I agree with BD. Nothing connected on the inside of the connection point. They come that way from Marinco.
