New to me 342

I am the new owner of a 2005 342.  I know I am asking a bit late but....Any abnormal issues with these boats?  I got a great deal on it and expect to spend some money on it.  Just wondering about issues I should address right off.  My last boat had a single bravo 2 so I know about staying ahead of the corrosion issue.     Welcome, there are a lot of guy's that have them on here. Normal wear and maintenance.

    I have the same boat. The more you use the boat the better it runs. If it is new to you start with the basics(tune up, drive oil,bellows,gimbal,wax,buff,clean rugs,and so on)that alone should empty your wallet. This is one of the best boats Rinker ever made.

    We've had an '03 since September with no real* issues.  The boat is awesome.

    There aren't many model-specific issues with the 342.  It's the typical stuff for a boat that age:  leaks, wear & tear, components needing replacement.  How's the generator?  Get into the habit of running it at least 20 minutes twice a month if you want it to stay reliable.

    So, I have been getting ti ready to launch.  Going thru systems slowly to make sure all is good. The only thing that has me stumped is how to turn the radio on. Is there a main power feed?  Thanks in advance!

    On many Rinkers, the stereo is wired to one of the ignition circuits.  Switch the port engine key to the "accessory" position, and the radio should come on.  

    The amplifiers are powered directly from the house batteries, but there's a low-current feed from the ignition that tells the amps to turn on.
