Question around beeping after start up

Just wanted to ask a question to the community.
We were out today for a little cruise and anchored out for about an hour or so. When I went to restart the engine, there was a constant beeping, from the console.
I went to to check the CO monitor and it wasn’t that, and then checked the drive reservoir and it was full. All levels, Oil, Temp and battery also seemed fine. Seeing as we had to get back for a dinner I put it in gear and started off. Maybe 10 seconds later, it stopped and never came back and the ride back was uneventful.
Once at the dock and we were unloaded I decided to start it again to see if it would come back and it did. I revved it for about 20 sec in neutral and then it went away again.
Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
