Marine mat for 280EC

Hey guys,

just wanted to share the latest addition to the boat. 

Took a while in ordering due to some hiccups but in the end was worth it. 

If anyone needs a template for a 280. Let me know.

    Looks awesome!!! I would like the template!!! I want to get my swim platform done sooner rather than later. Then the cockpit.

    Used a guy out of Keswick. SkeneMarine. You can google his site. 

    Dans his name and a great guy. Came out, did a template, ordered and when I came home today it was installed.

    For anyone interested...You can now order MarineMat directly from Rinker, most templates are already on file. Call Malary. I did mine with "snap-in faux teak" instead of adhesive backed.

    I put SeaDek down on my 280 and i love it!

    @Dirtythirty do you have Malary's email address by chance?

    I am finalizing mine now with Marine Mat. needed to do part to finish off 2 sections and they'll be here soon. They did a great job.

    Sup racks were supposed to go on the side on the bow rails but because the 280’s rails are so low it didn’t work. Lucked out with them fitting on the back. Sticks out on the sides and sometimes makes a loud noise when waves hit it, but way better than sticking it in the cabin.

    @Dude_Himself - the marine mat would look awesome in your 280! I always wanted to put it on that boat and never got around to it!

    @tk1973, was your grill mount in that spot before the MarineMat, or did you place it there afterwards? I have a grill mount on the same side, just closer to the corner right behind the seat. I like the look of it being mounted on top of the mat verses a cut out for it.

    @Cableguy Greg it’s in the same spot.

    I asked him and he said he just unscrewed it, put a little 4200 in the holes, marine mat down and screwed it back in the same holes. I wasn’t there so didn’t see how he lined it all ip
