Will any SBC PCV valve work, or do I need to go get a Mercruiser part?  I’d assum any would work, but I figured I’d ask before getting one.

My engine just just started using a little oil for the first time ever, with only 350 hours. I’m hoping for the cheap and easy solution before I start pulling plugs........ugh

It is just a std SBC part. It can be a bugger to pull out of the grommet on the valve cover. Just saying. It needs to be the type with the 90 degree bend for the hose connection.

Yeah mine looks difficult because the smartcraft bracket that hold all the ECM plus or right over it. I may have to actually take it off to get to it. Something tells me I’ll be pulling the plugs out too.....

at least i can just go to oreillys down the street and get one. Thanks.

You can get it out without removing anything. Might need a long flat blade screwdriver or long needle nose pliers.
