cap blows off gear lube reservor

Does any know why my cap would blow off my reservoir after I travel at 4,500 rbm for 30 minuts 
I have a 34' Rinker with a bravo 3 out drive 350 mag 2004

Drive got hot, oil expanded. Could be a sign of a problem beginning.

yes the oil blew out too

Might be time for a drive shower.  I put them on my B3s this season because my mechanic noted some burnt oil during the outdrive service.

yes it is the correct cap and it is vented

your mechanic is obviously taking you for a ride. 
you need drive showers because you have bravo 3 with some high rpm turning beasts in the back?
 Come on man!
you Have a heavy boat with small engines working to death to push her.
one thing I leaned over they years is there is no replacement for displacement.
plus If Your gear lube is burnt you have bigger issues?
you know what it takes to burn gear lube
its something above your mechanic lol
