Installed mechanical oil pressure gauge

My Faria oil pressure gauge failed!! surprise surprise.
Wanting to be sure I had oil pressure I installed a mechanical gauge. Had a braided stainless steel hose made up, 20' long with the proper fittings, installed a t-fitting along with a new Mercruiser sending unit.
Even with the new sender, OP gauge did not work but the mech gauge read 50 psi at idle, excellent.
