Gas Cap
The cover for my gas cap popped off the other day and its now sitting at the bottom of the lake somewhere.
Its just the pretty cover, not the actual screw-in piece as thats still in place. Its mostly my fault, as the cap sticks out right where I have a padded dock corner, and it popped it off a couple times during docking.
Just wondering if anyone knew the part #, or if I can replace the whole unit with a universal cap.

I can almost predict your next thread title... "water in my gas! how'd it get there?"
it's not something like this?:

It looks similar, but not exact. And no water can get into my tank through the cap right now. I'm only missing the metal outside cover, the actual threaded part/inside is still there. Its a 2-piece cap, and the outer part is whats missing.
i was trying to make a joke on you using a cap with the water symbol on it as the gas cap. someone would make a mistake... get it?
i'll keep my day job...
I took a look at the water tank cap yesterday and there are zero manufacturer markings on it. Off to the dealer.......
Can you post a photo?
