Anchor missing

So I've been traveling all summer and last weekend when I took my boat out I noticed my anchor was missing..... I had the marina look at video footage but their system only went back a week and on all video it was missing before that.  I have no idea what size anchor originally went there. Any help would be appreciated, 2001 Rinker 340

Was the rope or chain cut? Was the bolt removed to get the anchor off? That’s strange!!

Bolt was removed.... I ordered a new stainless one.  Didn't know anchor were that $$$ definitely pi$$ed me off a little bit more.

For next time - as the thief will suspect you now have a nice new anchor for his friend - I made a lock for my anchors. Piece of SS Cable coated with plastic with a loop crimped at each end to allow me to lock it in the anchor locker.

Hey i just got a new anchor for my 342....i "found" it just hanging on the front of this other boat.  I have been noticing more and more comments from people on other sites where their boat is being robbed.  Last one was from people in Annapolis getting boarded in the middle of the night tied up in ego alley.

Good way to get shot. lol. On the water it becomes piracy, and the rules all change. 

I have bear repellant on board. 👺. Pepper spray on steroids they call it.

I picked up one off ebay for $300, Chinese steel I'm sure but still looks great and does the job
