2007 320EC refrigerator replacement

It appears to be physically impossible to get the refrigerator out through the 19” access way. It looks like I will be able to get it out in pieces but then I still have the problem of getting a new one back in. Anyone come up against this problem and how did you resolve it?

I replaced the fridge last year.  Had to take the door off the fridge, and had to remove the trim around the companionway opening to get the new fridge in.  Needed a second of hands as well.

I was replacing a 4.2 CU fridge.  I got a Vitrifrigo 4.2 CU that is fridge only.  They make a fridge/freezer unit but I rarely use the freezer.

Yeah, I like your thinking with the fridge only. Mine is a 3.7 cu.

Stodge, do you remember the dimension of your 4.2 with the door off, i.e., what was the width of your companionway?
