I think this change took most of us by surprise ... the forum domain name changed yesterday from vanillaforums to vanillacommunities.

    Yeah I was presented with a nice 404 error page when I tried to get here this morning.  But google had the updated URL.

    I posted it on the Rinker Club facebook page.... I also reached out to Rinker to have them change the link on their website page...

    It was redirecting to the new url for a while.  Yesterday they removed the dns record for the old domain.

    do you guys want to have a forum that doesn't do this?  Rinker can still influence it and the same moderators/admin's can do their thing... 

    i can even import all the posts from here and import them (if an admin can collect the database).. 

    i do these things on the side.  my most popular site is https://www.cfb51.com  which covers my other passion- college football. 

    vanilla has issues... just sayin'.  one of them is security.

    Oh, college football?  I had to add a cockpit TV on the boat just for that reason. Hmm, I certainly shouldn't waste more time on another forum...go Buckeyes!!

    I've been trying to figure this out for 2 days now. Kept getting a site under maintenance, and then site doesn't exist message.  Only once I googled the forum did I find this.

    You sure you shouldn't redirect people for at least a month?

    Mine has been okay, I have an open tab all the time and had no idea it moved until you guys raised it. Somehow they redirected me at least once.

    I wonder since the parent co owns so many brands they are trying to put them all under one domain or something...hope we don't lose valuable input from some that think it's gone!
