ACC switch for captains call

I have 99 272 Captiva. Is anyone using the stock ACC dash switch to control Captains Call? I was on a 2001 over the weekend and he had a separate switch to control exhaust. Wondering why would you not use the existing ACC dash switch?

 The consensus is that the switch may not have enough current capacity.   You could always use a relay with the ACC switch though...... but it looks like the members have already said that.

I ended up calling Corsa and reviewed the wiring with them and they didn't see any issues with using the current ACC dash switch.  I was able to find the lead, which was tied to the main wiring harness in the engine compartment.  To report, the ACC switch works fine with no issues, not sure why some have a separate exhaust switch, unless they plan on using the ACC switch for something else.
