12 volt outlet in cabin doesn’t work

The 12 V outlet in the cabin of my 270 does not work.  I bought a replacement outlet but it still doesn’t work.  I don’t see a fuse behind it I wonder if there is a circuit breaker somewhere that I can’t find

I have a breaker for mine in the power panel.

Not on mine Stodge.  I have one from the 110 outlets but not the 12 volt. There are two other 12 volt outlets that both work fine.

Is it on the same power as the stereo?

The breaker should be at the helm for the cabin 12v plug.

Is your fridge not working when it's off shore power?  That's another symptom of a bad connection or blown fuse, on my '99 270.  The first fuse I check is behind battery selector.  If that one is good check the connection.  Then there's a connection behind the fridge, pull the fridge to see if that's good- think there's a fuse back there to.  Always fun to check that one.

Other searches for this is "fridge doesn't work away from shore power" and the like.

My fridge works fine off shore power (or on it).  The stereo also works fine and I don't think the outlet is on the same circuit.  I will double check the helm breakers.  None looked like they were tripped but I will look again.  Thanks all for the advice.  Love this site!

For sure it's either an inline fuse or a breaker. Did you check under the helm, there's many pop up breakers. Otherwise, can't you get behind the 12V plug in the TV cabinet, and check if there's an inline fuse? If not, run a new wire.

into another circuit.

On my 270 the outlet wasn't working so was going to change it. When I pulled it out there was an inline fuse about a foot down the wire.
