slight miscalculation while docking????

This happened at one of the Chicago harbors yesterday.  Don't know the story of how it happened.

Hmmmm, full throttle into an occupied well?  

Assuming there was no medical or mechanical reason for mishandling the boat and I was the offending boat's insurance company I'd drop him for being stupid and tell him he's on his own to pay for his mistake.  Some people just shouldn't own a boat.

if you look closer at the dock that is under the boat that slip looks like it was empty. the boat that is under him looks like it is actually the slip in front of his?

Looking at it closer, that is how it looks to me as well.
